Posted 1:37 am February 10th, 2010I know your pain, and that empty feeling in your heart. Even though my dog Shadow has been gone for 3 years, I still miss him terribly. I have (and very dearly love) 3 other dogs, but Shadow was my best friend for 12 of his 13 years, and nothing can equal the bond we had.
I tried going to the WMKV website to view your video, but was unable to locate it. Can you please put up a link to it so we can view it?
I take comfort in the thought that one day we will be reunited with all of our pets at the rainbow bridge, and will be with them forever after.
My deepest sympathies,
Ginger!

Posted 12:32 pm February 8th, 2010Thank you LIz for your thoughts on Brandy. You are so kind. And I'm truly sorry about your dog. Yes, not only are they the most loyal of all living things, but dogs never ask, they just give and give and give. We were blessed to have them as long as we did.

Posted 12:08 pm February 8th, 2010I lost my 10 year old Long Haired Dachshund Last Sunday. His name was Fritzie and he was my constant companion. He died from Heart complications also. He was as smart and even smarter than some people. He always wanted to please me and was as loyal as anyone could be. I bought him from a family whose dog had puppies. When we went to the house he picked us. Of all the puppies there he was the one that would cling to me. He had the biggest beautiful brown eyes with so much expression in them. He knew and understood everything that we said. I have a big hole in my heart now that he is gone.
