You may be right if you watched any Television from the 1960's thru the 1980's.... Yep, that was me. Always played the bad guy ! My Mom asked me to play a good guy for once. So, I was the Guest Star in "Amazon Hot Wax" an episode of Wonder Woman so that my Mom could have everyone at Church see me as I really am "A Good Guy" ? 

As a Character Actor it always amazed me that the general public really felt that I was the person they had seen on T.V. 

I am retired now and loving it in Florida. Look me up sometime....
