  Ok here is one I think will make you glad you are not a part of my family.

This past Wednesday night we were in bed and heard a very loud noise in our attic.

My sons decided to go up and see what it was...as it turned out it was a huge opossum.

My one son is a hunter so he decided to get his air powered pellet gun and take the critter out..........All I can say is the next series of events is so unbeleiveable it could not be made up...so help me God this is all true!

They got up in the attic and one son held the light while the other did the shooting I recall five shots being fired when my son said" I got it. it's down".The other one said "dude I'll get it great job".

Well he went to grab it by the tail and it was still alive it started hissing and showing it's fangs, he screamed omg! it's still alive!

The other one said move back I'll put a few more shots in it.

Well he was out of ammo and hollered down to me to get him more...

 I am scared to death of heights and couldn't get more then three steps up the ladder.

Next thing I heard was Mom help it's coming at me...a few more screams and a Wack!!

He hit the opossum wth the butt of his gun and it flew right over to the other son which in turn jumped back in fear and went through my bedroom celing .

Not only did he fall through but so did the opossum which was still alive.

As the opossum came through, my celing fan caught it and flung it across my bedroom, it hit my wall and slid back behind my bed...yes it was still alive.

Dear God my room was a mess with opossum blood guts and what ever else can come out of a opossum an what looked like a ton of insulation all over my room.

I screamed for my hubby that the opossum was now in the house.

He came to the rescue as the opossum came crawling out from under the bed he got it with his 44 mag that was loaded with snake shot.

This was truley the funniest night of events I have ever lived through.

Thank the lord my hubby is in drywall by Thursday night we had a new celing in.I had to throw out my comforter and sheets pillows...you name it it was covered in fiberglass.

I learned one thing...If we ever hear any more noises in the attic I will call Critter Rescue...No more opossum hunting for us!
