TRULY THE GOLDEN YEARS

I've been retired for some 21 years now and consider the period the best time of my life!
During the period I ran into lung cancer, but Praise the Lord, I am now ten years cancer free!
Each day is enjoyable, interesting, and beautiful from my perspective!
The first thing I do each morning, even before getting out of bed, is to express thanksgiving and praise to my Creator! This is a must for me.
Just today discovered Growing Bolder site, and am looking forward to getting better acquainted with the programs and participants!
What do you think, does this sound like a plan?

Have read lots of blogs and accidentally got into a discussion, but it was fun and reinforced some of my ideas on life. Thankfully, you survived cancer and now can appreciate every new day.
