I did something today that i have not done in YEARS ... I woke up before the sun and went to work out at Gold's Gym before work! It may not seem like that big of an accomplishment, but you don't know how much I value sleep!
And I even did it on a sleep-deprived night...my 2-year-old woke up at 4:30 with a bad dream and came into my room. So I took her back to bed and laid down with her until she fell asleep. But how could you say no to a face like this?

But the miracle of all miracles was that I then woke up in her room -- without an alarm clock! -- and still got myself out the door by 5:50 a.m.! It's part of my new effort to really make exercise a priority. I think all busy moms can relate to putting exercise on the back burner behind making meals, packing lunches, doing laundry, chauffeuring the kids to and fro, etc.
So, it may not be a major lifestyle change but it's a step in the right direction, right?
