I'm happy to see that more and more folks are signing up and posting blogs.  I've been telling my friends about GB, and I've received nothing but great feedback from them.  In fact, I talked with one of my close friends from high school tonight, and suggested that he post a few of his stories.  He travels a lot and has an extremely interesting background.  He's a friend to the environment and has even received a couple of "Points of Light Awards" for his volunteer work on environmental projects.   He' an avid bird watcher, a backpacker, and has been involved in several projects to bring medical assistance and service to 3rd world countries.  Just to look at him, you know that he's got some good stories to tell.

He's a little older then the days when the above picture was taken, but his story telling improves with each passing year.
