Hanging in the SMITHSONIAN!!!!

Just got back from Washington D.C. yesterday where I got to see my daughter, Sarah Muehlbauer, standing next to her dress and video which are on display in the S. Dillon Ripley Gallery of the SMITHSONIAN!!!!!  Pardon the exclamation points, I'm so incredibly thrilled for her!  I wrote a while ago about her winning the Green Light Awards grand prize (sponsored by Volkswagen) in "The $20,000 dress."  But the whole thing really took on a fairy-tale quality when we went to Washington two days ago for a reception for the contest winners at the Rayburn Building one night, followed by the visit to the Smithsonian the next morning.  I watched her sign what I think was her first autograph!  What's more, she  made the front page of the Wisconsin State Journal too.  Many thanks to VSA Arts and to the generous philanthropic arm of Volkswagen Group of America, Inc.  Here's her Green Light bio--I'm not just speaking as a proud mom to say that she's a phenomenal artist!
