Improvisational Christmas!

Christmas got improvisational this year.  There's a long list of things that didn't get done, didn't get taken out of boxes, didn't get bought, didn't get baked.  I used "imaginary" wrapping paper on the presents because I didn't have time to wrap them, and moved Christmas dinner at my house to the day after.  Guests will be arriving in about two hours, and I still haven't started peeling the potatos.  Maybe I'll hand the peeler to the first person who shows up!

But in the final tally, it's been wonderful in the most important ways--family, friends, fondness, love.  And even the "extra cat" who's guesting with us for the next couple of days is providing a steady stream of amusement.  Happy holidays to all...and for the "rest of the story," turn to Makeshift Christmas!!
