Then
next time your kids visit one of their aging relatives who may be
living in an assisted living center or skilled nursing home tell them
to bring their laptop full of interesting pictures.
Laptops are
a great device for viewing pictures by the elderly who have sight
problems. The picture can be made bigger on a laptop and you can ‘zoom’
in on a face or some other interesting item in the picture so they can
see it more clearly.
A lot of Seniors have trouble looking at
normal size pictures unless you provide them with a magnifying glass,
but a 15 inch laptop screen is perfect for Grandma or Grandpa to see
pictures of their favorite grandchild kicking a soccer ball or running
home to score a run.
So, break out the digital camera and really
prepare for that next trip to see the grandparents. The smiles that
come to their faces will warm your kid’s heart forever.

Thanks for the tips -- what great ideas! I had an amazing experience recently, when my husband and I were able to have a live Skype conversation with my grandparents ... us in Florida, them in Maine. They hadn't seen us for more than a year, and it was a lot of fun to show off the house, our animals and more.

Wonderful advice....
I work in a skilled nursing home and may I add that the digital picture frames are a wonderful gift to give .They love the changing of the photos and are so excited to show off family and friends pictures
to everyone.
Any time we can brighten and add happiness to our seniors lives I say go fror it.....
