After last Thursdays Twitter/AgeOp think tank I decided it was to drag out my old protest signs and start a new crusade against ageism and the devaluation of those of us over 50.
Somewhere, somehow, somebody got the idea that anyone over 30 (uh oh, was it us 40 years ago??) had nothing to offer. What a crock! The opposite is true - we have more to offer because we've experienced more and learned more.
It's time to remind the world that Baby Boomers are a generation of people who question authority and then demand change for the better.

Katy, thank you for your very gracious comments - my cheeks are blushing!
I'm looking forward to Thursday evenings and the great idea exchange that is going on there - as you can see it inspired me!
I truly love how Growing Bolder's staff is so connected with it's membership - unlike many other boomer sites you all seem to really want to make a difference in the lives of those of us over 50.
It has been such a tremendous pleasure to get to know you through Growing Bolder and The Age of Opportunity. (If you are reading this comment, make sure to check out the Diva's interview on The Growing Bolder Radio Show!)
Your art is beautiful, but your spirit is even more stunning. I look forward to hearing more about your work!
