Is it logical to accept that human life happened by chance? Especially those who have studied the human body, studied anatomy and have learned the interactions of each organ in the body, as well as the influence of the mind on the body and vice versa.
Why can the body continue to function even though the mind has been destroyed by disease until the destruction of the autonomic nervous system? Why does a healthy mind continue to function after the body is incapacitated by disease? We know that mental depression affects the physical body, and, when the body is sick, it affects our attitude and mental functions.
For many years, I have pondered these questions and reached the conclusion that our minds and bodies are the greatest mechanisms in existence. Even though scientists have anounced they have developed artificial sperm cells from human stem cells, it was necessary to use material of an original human being.
It is interesting that scientists have never been able to create life itself. It is by using the human mind that they have discovered and created many great things, a fact that cannot be denied.

Posted 6:15am July 18th, 2009Thanks, Ginger! I choose to believe the Genesis version of the creation of man. It is far more believable than the theory of evolution, which has never been logical to me. It fails to recognize the truth, that for there to be a law (law of nature), there has to be a lawgiver.

This reminded me of an email I received a year or two ago. I thought perhaps I had kept it but, if I did I can't find it, so I'll try to relate it from memory.
A scientist was talking to God and said to Him: "Well, we don't really need you anymore. We have discovered how to create human life on our own." God, in His infinite wisdom, smiled and congratulated the scientist. He then said: "Please, show me how you can create life." So the scientist, thinking he was really smart, reached down and picked up a handful of dirt. Seeing that, God said "No, no, start with your own dirt!" The scientist bowed his head and conceded defeat.
