Since I had to retire the biggest fear I have is becoming one of those old farts that just sit at home, or around the local coffee shop and gab about what they used to do.Please don't get me wrong if your health or money keep you in that boat, then row on  brother, living on a social securiety check myself I ain't burning up the road alot but I've taken up cooking , got back to gardening and a few other things.
Finding GB is great, the other social networks I was on are fine ,but if I want to talk to kids in the twenty something range I have my own kids to talk to.Since I've just joined and still finding my way around I'll be sure to have more to say in the next blog

I have been retired since 2000, and am finding more stuff to do all the time. Of course I decided to sell my house and by an RV and travel the good old USA. I have a creative streak so I do many different things with my time. Painting pictures like many people do is not my thing though. Have you gotten into any kind of creative stuff. If so what are you doing?

Hi, I just read what you had to say about retiring and the question I want to ask you is this, are you happier now that you are retired or would you rather be working? I'm really curious as to what you have to say about that.
Thanks in advance for any response you give. Gina
