Just want to let everyone know that the 16th Annual St. Jude fundraiser is coming up very soon.  It will be held on Sunday, Nov. 8th at the Rosen Plaza on International Dr. in Orlando.  The doors open at 1:00pm and the dinner & show are from 2:00 - 6:00pm.  This year's theme is a tribute to John Travolta, The Bee Gees and Disco, and British comedian Barry St. Ives will have you ROFL.   PJ Leary & the Las Vegas Sounds and yours truly will also be performing.  There's always a surprise guest star, too.

I'm very proud to say that I've been part of this event for 14 years.  Everyone who has ever attended has always left saying what a terrific time they had....the food and service are A-1, the entertainment is excellent, and back by popular demand from last year is the casino.  All attendees will receive casino money when they arrive, so that everyone can play. 

More importantly, it's for a tremendous cause....children.  If you're not familiar with St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, it was founded by Danny Thomas to treat children with childhood diseases such as cancer.  There is no charge to treat a child if the family has no insurance.  The cost for operating the hospital is over $1 MILLION DOLLARS PER DAY!

All proceeds from the fundraiser are sent to St. Jude's with the only exception being the actual costs to put it on.  No entertainers are paid for their appearance, no matter who they are.  They donate their time and talent for the cause.
