The Perfect Pet

We searched and researched for the perfect little critter for our daughter Abbegale who turned 7 today - Sept 24th.  And after visiting the pet stores and even considering adopting a bunny from Gainesville Rabbit Rescue, we ended up visiting PetCo in the Villages and as we were shopping around (without our knowledge) someone came into the store to give a teddy bear hamster up for adoption.  Well, after the lady helping us could NOT catch the guinea pig so we could hold it - or manage to grab a mini hamster without it attempting to bite her - I was starting to think we may go home empty handed.  My thought was that I was not going to buy something that I couldn't hold first.  Another sales associate walked up and said "someone just dropped of a hamster for adoption and it's a female (just what we wanted /not a male with those yucking things attached).  So we went up front to check her out - and can you imagine this - she came with cage and all - FREE - and her cage was PURPLE  - now how perfect was that!  She is the sweetest thing and does not bite.  Her name is Hanna of course - and if you can't guess where that name came from, then you must not have kids or grandkids.
