Working with dogs

For years, I worked as a corporate shill, hating every moment of it. After several years, I realized I needed to do something to make a difference in the world. I started working at an animal shelter, particularly with dogs. I have to say, the pay cut was worth it. I've added years to my life since I've been able to cut out so much stress. Also how can you be too stressed when you go and cuddle a puppy or nuzzle a kitten. My only frustration now is seeing how badly some people treat animals -- but at least I can do something about it!

Posted 5:46pm January 13th, 2008I agree - making a career change from corporate America to working with animals is one of the best things I've ever done for myself! Just wish I had done it sooner.......I am much less stressed and get to play with animals every day. The wet kisses are well worth giving up the corporate benefits for!
