Church people

Most church people tend to irritate the hell out of me; & I'm
speaking as someone who was an ordained minister for over 20 years.
They tend to be telling God, Okay I'll accept your forgiveness; but I don't want You meddling with my life.
They tend to believe they are okay the way they are, & everyone
else is all messed up. They tend to believe God has personally
appointed them to fix what's wrong with everyone else, while they are
totally blind to what needs to be fixed in their own hearts &
lives. They've invented their own little gods & they keep them locked up inside of 4 walls & visit them maybe 3 times a week. They need to meet the real God folks.
I told someone this morning That God isn't surprised when I mess up @
all because He knows how bad I really am. The only ones caught off
guard are the people in the churches who think I should be perfect
while totally ignoring what's wrong with them. God wants to fix the
things in our lives that are making us so miserable, & everyone
around us; but God doesn't force His help on anyone. Church people on
the other hand have no problem @ all with meddling with people's lives.
They want you to walk a walk they can't walk themselves. They talk a good talk; but they walk a weak walk.
If I can treat my worst enemy the same way I treat my best friend, then
in God's eyes @ least I am perfect. It's all about how we treat other
people. It's not about what we look like on the outside.
