The Florida Freeze

Today when I walked to my car, I could see my breath. When I got in the driver's seat, turned on the ignition and saw that the temperature was 48 degrees, my first step was to turn the hot air at full blast, and my second step was to curse the weather.

Yes, I know how lucky I am to live in Florida. Yes, I know that while it's snowing in Central New York right now it's sunny here. And yes, I used to hate people like me that would whine and complain about a minor shift in the weather.

But I'm spoiled!! I love wearing short sleeves in December, and going to the beach in March. So I'm ready for the warmup that the meteorologists are promising for next week.

Brrrr....
