Today, on this Veteran's Day, I urge every American to read the essay by Carleton Jones, Jr., a veteran of the Cold War and Vietnam. I have never met the man. I have also never read such a well-written, succinct statement of what it means to be an American. The essay is posted as part of a tribute to veterans here.

    Hello Growing Bolder I did an old fashion USO show over the weekend we had over 1000 people
    it was produced in an airplane hanger at Leesburg International Airport . We had a full swing band and a swinging crowd Patriotism was alive and well .
    I  dedicated this song Miss Liberty to all our veterans , a song I composed that was endorsed by Dante B Fascell a member of congress in regard to the celebration of our freedom . Featuring Brent Mason CMA / Grammy winner on guitar
