A fundraiser benefitting the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Sanford will be held on Thursday, Dec. 4, 2008 at Joe's Crab Shack, 4659 W. 1st Street (State Road 46) in Sanford from 11 a.m. until 10 p.m. Patrons will be able to enjoy lunch, dinner and happy hour while supporting the Society's mission that includes raising funds for cancer research, education, advocacy, and patient services. Joe's Crab Shack will provide a portion of the proceeds from this event to benefit the American Cancer Society's Relay for Life of Sanford 2009. The annual fundraising event, held at theCentral Florida Zoo, will take place on April 24-25, 2009.
