Home Business
I've been in network marketing for years and over those years I've learned quite a bit. Some of it the hard way, some it through successes and failures!
I love the business and have found it to be not only financially rewarding but personally rewarding as well. If any of you are considering network marketing I suggest you do your homework! Not all companies are the same and not all companies will give you the opportunity to have a real income. Some will turn out to be more of an expense than an income!
Things to look for:
Company management.....are they experienced? Does that experience include being a successful associate with a network marketing company? If it doesn't, you will find that the company is setup for the management to succeed and your success will be difficult to say the least. Look for well rounded experience and of course a good track record.
Product......to truly be successful you must have a product that stands out above all the rest. That product needs to be consumable as well. In general, network marketing companies offer the cream of the crop in products.
Requirements.....some network marketing companies have substantial requirements on a monthly basis to allow for earnings. Look for a low requirement. Even if you can afford a high dollar expense, many of those just getting started cannot. So, if he requirement is high you will lose out on a large number of potential associates.
Startup expenses.....how much does it cost to get started? Some companies are expensive and continuing costs are high. Look for a company with no signup fees that provides an all inclusive business. Including company provided training, websites, etc. Once again, while you might be able to afford business expenses, many others cannot and you business is not selling.......your business is helping other people grow and business and earn a good income. If you focus on your income, you will fail. You must focus on helping other people earn.
What is network marketing? Is it a pyramid scam? These are things we hear all the time so I'm going to give you a very simplified explanation of the business..... network marketing simply choose to reward people for advertising their products and growing their businesses rather than paying celebrities to highlight and promote through television, print ads, etc. Network marketing companies realize that there is no better advertising than word of mouth and network marketers are very good at spreading the word! Network marketing pays very much like any other business model. Think of a retail store model. Before the merchandise hits the store it has gone through several hands, all of which make a profit. In network marketing, the distributors are those hands and each of them make profit. It is a lucrative business, an honest business and one that absolutely anyone can do well with. No special education is required!
So, why do we hear of so many people that fail in this business? There are I'm sure many different answers to that question but most of the time it boils down to understanding what the business is and how exactly to work it. This is why the company you work with is so important. In addition to the company, your sponsor in network marketing can either catapult your business or make it difficult. Look for a sponsor that offers you ongoing support, additional training, real inside information about what to do.
Most of us that are successful in this business provide our associates with a proven plan. We have ironed out all the wrinkles so you can skip that process and get your business up and going fast! Everything we do, can be done from the comfort of your home!
