Heroes are defined as those who distinguish themselves through acts of courage and bravery or are noble of character. Heroes come in many shapes and forms. War heroes, martyrs and saints, super heroes, or people who sacrifice themselves for the good of others. To me, heroes are defined by the word ‘caregiver’. In my day to day dealings with caregivers I am amazed with their selfless love and devotion to their family members. They very often put their loved one’s needs before their own.

The heros is my life have certainly been more of the people who have given me care than a decorated war hero or someone who has physically saved my life. I think you captured the importance of those nontraditional heros we all should remind ourselves to appreciate daily!
