iPod | Cell Phone
My eldest son, Steven, had his first child in February. We are overjoyed with this newest member. My son is an artist, musician and now teaching in Phoenix. His work is well known and has earned a wonderful reputation as a native artist. His son is now two months old and I wished I was closer so I could babysit him. He is so cute.
Terry and I have been managing a mobile home park since November and there has been plenty to learn. We take rent payments from mobile home owners. It's one of the nicest communities in the area. Terry is busy with maintenance, road repairs, clean up, fixing tools, driving the golf cart around the 143 homes here. I take care of the office, paperwork, deposits, filing, etc.
The people are basically good to work with but we sometimes get someone knocking on our door or get a phone call at odd hours during the night. Once we got a call about a mobile for sale around 9:30pm. That's the problem with having our home and office phone the same. We use our cell phones for personal calls.
The winter here was harsh with snow, terrible winds and icy conditions. The leaves aren't totally out yet and Terry has been growing little seeds in pots this last month of tomatoes, two types of basil. He wished he could get used to this weather, always changing, never reliable. One day it will be cold, in the 20's and the next day up to 50 degrees. We have a short growing season here but when it does get warm, we'll need the air conditioner.
