Marriage
Hi everyone:
I'm a newby here on growing bolder, and Bill suggested I blog my story about my recent marriage...so here goes.
About 4 years ago, I was going through a tough divorce (oxymoran, all divorces are tough) and had recently signed up for classmates.com. I guess looking back to a happier time or just out of curiousity. As a result, one person in particular contacted me, his name was Mario. We had dated in high school and college and hadn't talked to each other in over 25 years. I was stunned and pleased to hear from him. We struck up an old friendship and starting talking online. He had been divorced for some time and I was about to be divorced. He was an amazing friend to me in my time of need. After my divorce we attended our 25th year high school reunion together and the rest is history. We dated long distance for 2 LONG years until my daughters headed to college. We just celebrated our first anniversary this past September. I moved here in July and we were married the following September. It's been wonderful, we are so compatible and the things we've been through have changed us for the better. I can't imagine my life without him!! Honestly, neither of us were looking to remarry, but life is full of surprises and this is one of those sweet surprises!!

Posted 10:30am December 18th, 2007What a wonderful story! I can't read enough of these. It's fascinating on so many levels. I think we all can remember back to a person or two that makes us wonder "what if...". And yours became a reality! I have a friend who seems to be headed down that road, too. Through a wierd coincidence she bumped in to her high school sweetheart. He's in Orlando, she's in North Carolina, but they're going to see what happens. It just goes to show that no matter how difficult things get, you never know what the next day will bring. Thanks, Luvbutterfly, for sharing! Next we'd like to see some photos of you guys!!!
