The rapid decline into the sunset of my life,

Is filled with joyous memories, sometimes with tears.

Remembering the day we said, "I do",

And the night I had to say goodbye to you.

No one will ever replace you in my heart.

The next time we meet, we’ll never part.

Our days will be endless,

Filled with joy, peace and eternal rest.

This is a beautiful poem. My husband of almost 52 years died last year and I understand every word.
