New to the Group

I am new to the growing bolder group and just wanted to start to see how to make connections. My wife Karen and I are in the martial art of judo. We have been doing it for many years and enjoy competing on the masters level and get great enjoyment teaching clinics and seminars especially for church groups of all ages. I am an ordained minister of the Gospel and enjoy sharing my faith from the pulpit as well through martial arts. My wife Karen teaches martial arts with me and also competes in masters track and field. She does field events (shotput, discus and hammer throw). Just trying to figure out how to get in to the group. This is our first experience with a web group.

Posted 6:36 pm May 13th, 2008Hi Allen and welcome! We're very glad you're here. The good news is that you're in on the ground floor as we build what we know will be a one-of-a-kind site that's fun, interesting, informative, and life-affirming.
We have lots of members who are new to the whole social networking thing. Lots of folks who look around and watch videos. We need more members who write blogs, leave comments, and stimulate conversations. You're off to a great start with a blog on your first day!
We're just getting started with groups and we're adding new features every day. Why not start a martial arts group and share your talents?
