I think it's a lot like dreaming, while running mind has time to process the days thoughts. And on a really long run there is a felling of euphoria, but sometimes just pain. You gotta listen to your body.

Hi Microbyte, here is Terschelling, Netherlands. I always wondered
what a runner is thinking while running. About the run, or other
things? And is it true you get euphoric from running?

Welcome, Microbyte, we're thrilled to have you!
5km of running every day is pretty amazing ... I recently finished my first 10-mile training run and thought, I can never go any longer than this! I had to remind myself that just a few months ago, I thought the same thing after 5 miles.
No. If I run, it is to get away from German sheperds But I do excersize on the hometrainer, 30 km per day. I want to make that 40. It feels ok.
We have an annual marathon where I live, in November. I guess about a thousand people, could be more. They have a lot of fun running in the rain. Hard to understand somehow.
