Here is my schedule for 2008 and my winter/spring training plan.
Hope to see some of you GBers next summer!!!
March- Wildman Oly Tri Orlando (use as tune-up/pacing for 70.3)
April- Tour de Lake Half Century, West Point Lake, GA. (more miles in legs for 70.3)
May- Ironman Florida 70.3
June- West Point Lake Oly Tri, GA.
June- Callaway Gardens Sprint Tri, GA.
July- Carrollton Sprint Tri, GA.
Aug- Peachtree City Sprint Tri, GA.
Sept- Tarpon Springs Sprint Tri, FL.
Oct- Disney Race for the Taste 10K, FL.
Oct- Geezer Jock Oly Tri, FL.
2008 Training (starting Dec 9th 2007)
Cycle 1 (prep for IM FL 70.3)
Base: 12 weeks, areobic work, sub 140BPM Heat Rate. Weight Training.
Speed: 7 weeks (starting March 2nd)
Taper: 4 weeks (starting April 20th)
Cycle 2 (prep for Tarpon Springs)
Base: 6 weeks (starting May 31st)
Speed: 3-4 weeks (Starting July 12th)
Taper: 4 weeks
