Write a blog? It should be 'write a post!'

This is a personal pet peeve of mine. You don't 'write a blog.' You write a 'post' ON a blog, just like a reporter writes an article for a newspaper or magazine. So this usage is just as incorrect as asking someone to 'write a newspaper."

Posted 9:20pm February 26th, 2011I found it strange when I first joined GB that I was asked to write a blog. Being a blogger myself, I write lots of posts for my blog. Thanks for bringing this up, Jack as I totally agree with you.
