If you decide to come to The Kingdom of Thailand be aware that the cost of visiting said country is going through the roof. Thailand is not that tourist haven that it was once was. Prices are increasing everywhere! Visa costs have been going up. If you over stay you'll now be paying approx $34.00 per over stayed day. The Thai banks are now charging only foreign credit card/ATM card users an additional $6.75 charge for just using an ATM machine to withdraw your own money to spend in the country. Not a great way to treat your paying guests/tourists is it folks? It does seem that those protesting the new practice are not being allowed to voice in public how they feel. I am not talking about any politics. I'm just wishing to express to others that "Land of smiles" ain't cheap like many thought is was a days gone past. Good travels to you all.
