Posted 2:12 pm August 16th, 2008Hello Queen Toni,
I am trying to catch up with all the comments from the Red Hatters' pages, since a lot of the Red's have joined Growing Bolder - 47 to date I believe.
I am so sorry I missed you coming to Anniston, Alabama - I live in Guntersville which is about an hour away. If you ever come this way again please let me know - would love to meet you ! Atlanta is about a 2 to 2 1/2 hour ride.
I had a shortness of breath incident on the morning of July 4th, which the Doctors admitted me into the Hosptial for on July 7th. I stayed a few days and was sent home, But ended back in again that next week. They found thru tests that I had a "weak heart muscle" and needed a "pacemaker".
This is the first time in my whole life that I have ever been sick (will be 70 years young this month), So now I am a "Bionic Woman" again ! The "pacemaker" has increased my heart rate almost double of what it was, and I am feeling much stronger and am able to breathe much easier as well now. I still need to take it easy for another month or so, but I am out driving and getting back into my routine slowly.
Had I known you were coming this close to me, I would have made an effort to come to see you - But I just noticed recently the Red Hatters coming to Growing Bolder. I have been on Growing Bolder since it's inception... It is a fun place to be and to connect !
Enjoy your time here !
Happy Red Hatting !
