Baby Boomer Women Rock, Roll & Unite in Daytona Beach

Well this is the week!  It's been a year in the making.  This weekend baby boomer women from around the country will meet up in Florida for the First Annual Baby Boomer Girlfriend's Spring Break.  Why?  Because WE DESERVE IT!

 

We spend 362 days out of the year taking care of husbands, children, relatives and pets; dealing with obnoxious co-workers, traffic jams and nosey neighbors-----but for three days (April 18-20) we are going to throw caution to the wind in Daytona Beach, FL and do something just for us! 

 

You know what's really cool about this event? We are women on the move and making a difference.   We are a "diverse" group of women coming together.  I've seen too many online networking sites that only cater to a certain segment of the population---but not us.  We are setting the example of what it truly means to be a baby boomer diva.  We are reaching out and giving back. A portion of our proceeds from the weekend's events will be donated to the American Heart Association because we know that heart disease is a leading cause of death among women over 40.
