Noisy Sex Get Boomer Couple in Trouble

I think you and I will agree that it's a good thing when a husband and wife can really turn each other on at midlife, right? But should your neighbors have first hand knowledge of what's going on in your home?

It seems as though a 48-year-old baby boomer woman from the UK was convicted for making too much noise during her love-making sessions with her husband. The noise was so bad that everyone from the neighbors to the postman heard their escapades.

A next door neighbor of the couple told the court she was frequently late for work because she overslept having been awake most of the night because of the noise.

She said: "The noise sounds like they are both in considerable pain. I cannot describe the noise. I have never ever heard anything like it."

An actual recording of their love-making sessions was also played for the court.

OK....so is this a cheap thrill or is someone jealous?

LOL. This brought back an odd memory. When my ex and I went to a place in upstate New York, we were placed in a room next door to a couple who delighted in each other. We were in our very early 20's and the youngest couple at the resort. I was mortified that I could hear the bed 'moving.' My poor husband suffered, there was no way I was going to make love; my goodness what if someone could hear us the way we heard them?

It left a lasting impression, even today, one of the first things I do when away, after checking the towel and utensils supply is to sit on the bed and bounce around a bit.

Bev, you gave me a good chuckle.

I know the problem and it always makes me giggle when I hear people I know make love.  But hey, it is a natural thing?  My husband is a lot more sophisticated than me on this and says it is childlish of me to smirk.  But I just can't help it.  And I hope no one hears US when we... The last taboo?

Whem my husband and I were first married we lived in a duplex with very thin walls.

There was a dancer living next door and she went at it daily and many times daily.Very loudly.! There was no way to get away from the noises we had to endure. It kinda got my hubby a little friskie.

He thought every time she did it we should.....All I can say is thank God she moved.!

I was plumb wore out. The only good thing that came out of it was we lost weight.

Now I wished she still lived next door,I could stand to loose a few pounds.

I guess if you can't beat them.....join them.!!!

Bev, I read that story...I know from friends that A/C is not common, so the windows are probably open. I wondered what kind of person you have to be to BE so noisy when it's obvious other people can hear it. Every parent learns to keep it down, so I just can't buy that they can't. The very least they could do is put up cork tiles on the walls and close the windows...
