Looks like a very nice community.

I could actually walk without the fear of getting run over by speeding cars like we have on the country roads in my area.

    Is this a 55+ neighborhood?

How can I convince my "Swamp Yankee" husband to move to Florida?  =)

I took some new measurements and updated this..

I did some measurements, the wall is approximately 675 feet long total, Its about an average of 6 feet tall and the top is 6 inches deep. Looking at about..

    4,387.50 sq-ft of wall

I/we need to look into about how much coverage paint will get us. I think my house was about 1,280 sq-ft and it took me about 8 gallons of primer, That would be about 27.5 gallons of primer for the wall. Thats 5 and a half 5 gallon pales of paint, lets say we spread it thin and use 5, 5 gallon pales. The cheapest I am finding online is ~70 (before tax...).. $70 x 5... $350 plus tax...

$378.00 for 25 gallons of primer (with tax included)

This includes NO other costs of brushes/rollers/paint trays, stucho fix, etc... And of course colored paint

    Coupons Needed!

If anyone has coupons for this paint it would help, we will try to make a deal with the store we buy it from but there are no guaranties they will help us out.

Lowes/Homedepot/Ace (or where ever else you think we can get cheap paint/primer) Specifically % off total purchase would be key. Say we have a 10% off coupon, that would save us $100 on a $1000 purchase

4 of us took time out of our weekend Saturday to pick up supplies for the painting project. We were able to get most if not all of the supplies required to prep/paint the wall out of the funds raised by the community.

According to the paint guy, I had overestimated the amount of primer/paint required. We ended up with 3 5-gallon buckets of primer and another 3 of color.

    Lets hope thats enough ;)
