I am inclined to agree, nursing homes are not as bad as most people fear, I learned this when in my 30's & recently divorced i was a volunteer Pink Lady in my spare time to encourage my daughter & keep her company while she bacame a candy striper, we did our work in alocal nursing home & it was a very pleasant place for people who needed assistance. In fact both my daughter & son worked in that same home till they went on to bigger & better jobs. They became very attached to the people they attended & it was hard when they had to move on.I think most people that work in nursing homes are the same kind of compasionate people they were & the residents become like family to them .So fear not If we ever have to live in a nursing home just hope they are one of the good ones I helped at.Elamarie
