Carolyn represents single moms very well, especially those of us who have dealt with tragedy and grief. I, too, participated in the grief program at New Hope for Kids. My daughter, Sarah, died in 2002 and my daughter Amy, then 8 years old, and I attended the Center for Grieving Children for just over year. We experienced the hope and strength offered through their program, just as Carolyn and her girls did. What isn't mentioned in this video is that Carolyn believes so strongly in New Hope for Kids that she joined the board of directors and continues to be a vital part of telling the community of the mission of bringing hope and healing to grieving children and their families. For more information about the organization, visit www.newhopeforkids.org The Center for Grieving Children is located in Maitland and offers its services free to the families it serves.
