Growing Bolder Every Year

Actor John O'Hurley is the epitome of Growing Bolder. It wasn't until his 40s that he became a household name thanks to his over-the-top performance as the hyperbole-prone J. Peterman on "Seinfeld." Then, at the age of 50, he waltzed into America's hearts on "Dancing With the Stars." Now 53, he is a first-time father and he's uncovering the secrets to finding happiness in life with a little help from his beloved Maltese in his new book, "Before Your Dog Can Eat Your Homework, You Have to Do It First."

He played drums for Cab Calloway, Duke Ellington and Tommy Dorsey. It's him you hear in Buddy Holly's "Peggy Sue," Bobby Darin's "Splish Splash" and Neal Sedaka's "Calendar Girl." He was recognized by the Rhythm and Blues Foundation, inducted into the Smithsonian Museum and his sticks are on display at the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.
