We've always believed Growing Bolder's message will spread quickly once we officially unlock the front door and begin to spread the word. But apparently the world isn't waiting for us. Last week, we started to notice a lot of new members from Singapore. After scouring the Web, we discovered we had been profiled on Channel News Asia (click here to read the story). It just proves that the age wave knows no boundary, and our message resonates worldwide. So, tell your friends and family to sign up now to become charter members before we start shouting about GB from the world's rooftops. We want your input about how we can create the most fun, inspirational and empowering community in the world.

But watch your back -- these days, many marathons are dominated by people in their 40s, 50s, and even 90s.
They're racing ahead of people who are decades younger.
So what gives them the drive to push their bodies past the finish line?
Growing Bolder got answers at the only place in the world where you'll find so many colorful characters, both in and out of costume.

Here's the deal. A California surfer was stoked by his father who was wise, generous and still surfed in his 70s. So the surfer made up a bumper sticker to honor his ole man. Four short years later, the bumper sticker has grown into a $6 million a year sportswear company. Growing Bolder catches up with the California surfer at his booth at the PGA Merchandise Show -- the world's largest gathering of golf industry professionals -- and discovers how a little attitude can go a long way in knocking down stereotypes.

This week, Growing Bolder said a tearful goodbye to one of our most treasured members. Ruth1898 passed away at the age of 109 years, 9 months and six days. And to us, her life wasn't nearly long enough. Ruth is the oldest person ever to have been a member of a social network Web site. Growing Bolder helped her stay engaged in life and in communication with the world. Ruth had her own personal profile page and filed dozens of video blogs. Watch this, one of her final blogs. You'll see why she has attracted a loyal following. Then check out her page on GrowingBolder.com to leave a comment and see even more.

He is the author of last year's New York Times No. 1 bestseller -- "You: On a Diet" -- and now he's focusing his attention on helping you extend your lifespan. His new book is called "You: Staying Young: The Owner's Manual for Extending Your Warranty." Dr. Oz shared some of his secrets for aging smart and staying young with Growing Bolder and knocked down some of the biggest myths about aging.
