As newlyweds, they spent many of those nights watching the big screen together, until their theater closed in the 1960s. Decades later, the Ropers are celebrating the future by renovating the past, and now, the curtain is coming up on a new dream: The Garden Theatre.

A plane crash claims the life of 30-year-old country music legend Patsy Cline. In 2001, the Country Music industry votes her the all-time Greatest Woman of Country Music.

The son of the late "Big Bopper," Jay Richardson, hires a forensic anthropologist to investigate the death of his father after rumors that he had been shot during the ill-fated 1959 flight that also claimed the lives of Buddy Holly and Ritchie Valens. Paul McCartney pleads guilty to charges of growing marijuana outside his Scottish countryside farm and is fined $240. He says that a fan gave him the seeds and he didn't know what they would grow.
