Madonna Buder, better known as the "Nun on the Run," just blew away the competition at the 2008 USA Triathlon Age Group National Championships. At age 78, Buder, a Catholic nun, finished her race in just under three-and-a-half hours, coming in first for her age group and 871st overall. Buder recently told Growing Bolder what keeps her going and explained the special connection she feels with God when she runs.
