Sports are perfect metaphors for the Growing Bolder mentality.
Every day, we're amazed by the people we encounter who are not only still active but are stronger than they've ever been in life.
When GrowingBolder.com launches, you'll meet people from all walks of life who are breaking world records and smashing stereotypes along the way.
Many of them say they have found the secret to a long life and it starts with getting off the living room couch.
So, whether it's long walks, jumping out of airplanes or running a marathon, get up and start Growing Bolder!

Talk about smashing stereotypes. This is anything but your typical "guy loves car" story. This is an "89-year-old woman loves car" story.
She loves her "Chariot" so much she's put more than 540,000 miles on the original engine. Come along -- you're ridin' shotgun on a Growing Bolder exclusive.

George W. Bush, Roseanne Barr, Robin Williams and Ozzy Osbourne all at the same event? They were just a few of the more than 100 famous faces at the Sunburst Celebrity Impersonator's Convention, one of the greatest gatherings of its kind anywhere. You'll recognize many of these performers from the ABC show "The Next Best Thing," and there was a special honor for Growing Bolder Vice President Bill Shafer. This group takes the concept of reinventing yourself to a whole new level!

We admit it. We're a cost-conscious organization and no one is above the grunt work required in a start-up business. When we hired two new employees and had 24 hours to get a workspace set up -- the quest for desks was on.

Jack La Lanne was so far ahead of his time, people thought he was nuts. Today, he's revered worldwide as the Father of Fitness and he's still Growing Bolder to this day. Jack opened America's first health studio, he invented the weight machines we use today and he advocated weight-lifting for women and the elderly at a time when athletes didn't even lift weights. Ever wonder who came up with the idea for that aerobics class you take? Jack turns 93 on Sept. 23 and still loves coming on the Growing Bolder Radio Show to spread a powerful message we all need to hear.

We love intergenerational stories. Growing Bolder with your children or even your grandchildren is one of life’s greatest pleasures.
If you have an intergenerational story, we’ll share it with the world -- like the Growing Bolder Radio show did with 57-year-old Rosemary Taugher and her 22-year-old daughter, Chelsea. They’re in the early stages of a 40,000-mile bicycle trip that will cover 40 countries and will take nearly three years to complete. Find out why they're Growing Bolder together on this adventure of a lifetime and what it means to their mother-daughter relationship.
In the next issue of the Growing Bolder Insider, we're boldly going where few have gone before to introduce you to a trailblazing woman.
Barbara Hillary is a 75-year-old cancer survivor from Harlem who learned that no black woman had ever been to the North Pole, so she decided to do something about it. Wait until you hear about her excellent adventure.
The Growing Bolder team would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to photographer and editor extraordinaire Michael Nanus.
He stepped in this week to make sure that this Insider was delivered to your inboxes on time.
And, since we're shameless promoters of people we like, we urge you to check out his Web site, www.mygenerationsvideo.com.
Mike and his partner (and wife!) create gorgeous video tributes that allow your loved ones to tell their own life stories, a remarkable gift for your family's future generations.
