Your houses are absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!  They are true heirlooms as well as works of art!  Wish you were MY Aunt Susie!

I had always wanted a miniature doll house, but never really played with dolls when I was little. So I had my dad make me a 1:12 scale three-story General Store several years ago and I cherish it.  With 3 sons, I figured they wouldn't want to inherit a doll house, so the store seemed more appropriate.  The first floor is the store and the upper two stories are where the owner would have lived.  I figured that way I could "stock" it with all sorts of interesting furniture and tools, etc. that the boys would like.

After Daddy passed away, I bought a little Victorian kit but never got up the courage to do anything with it.  You've inspired me to tackle that "construction project" again.  Thanks for sharing your story and your multi-storied treasures.

    Susan T.
