Posted 9:06pm October 26th, 2009This here's a 2H Union Special loom that I dressed with a 30yd warp in 1983 after bringing it home from a senior lady that just got wore out on it, then put it in storage 'til '87, hav'n about 10yd left on it. upon retir'n in last of '90, loaded up a 45' semi-van com'n to the Ozarks to build our " LOG CABIN FOR THE LOOMS " mostly by ourselves. It was in '07 when we finally got time & space for the 7 looms.
We started using the warp on rag-rugs and near'n the end saw that I had counted the revs wrong while crank'n on, about 2 yd short in 4@2" bouts in the central area. This looked like 'a-natural' for going to 2@-a-time placemats and not wast'n the resta thatthere warp.
