A trip to his mother's retirement community and writer Dudley Clendinen had enough interest to write a book. He's proving that we're not waiting for an age revolution -- we're in it!
Clendinen's new book, "A Place Called Canterbury: Tales of the New Old Age in America," was inspired by the people he met and the things he saw at the retirement community.
He says many age stereotypes and preconceptions were quickly dissipated and his idea of what life was like for older America were changed instantaneously.
According to his book, Clendinen says people are living life differently than in previous generations and even aging is different.
He talks with Growing Bolder about the age revolution and how that experience really changed him.
