Watch out Sundance, because there's a new film fest guru in town and she's focused on a new generation of filmmakers.

Anita Weber is the coordinator of the Independent Film Club of The Villages' inaugural filmmakers showcase. The film fest will feature a collection of documentaries, dramas, animated films and shorts submitted by members of The Villages or their family and friends.

Many of the filmmakers are over 50 and smashing stereotypes about what first-time directors and producers look like.

Anita explained to Growing Bolder why she's so passionate about the project and what she hopes to accomplish with it.
