Marilyn Monroe's death over 46 years ago was shrouded in mystery. Was it suicide? An accidental overdose? We may never know for sure. But that wasn't the only mystery surrounding her.

In 1946, Hollywood photographer Joe Jasgur was asked to take some photos of Norma Jeane Dougherty. They turned out to be the photos that launched her career. But they also launched an urban legend.

A photo Jasgur took of her wearing a bikini on the beach is one of the most examined pictures ever taken of her. It appears that on her left foot she has six toes! Did she?

We set out in search of Jasgur and we found him! Now well into his 80s he is in ill health residing in an assisted living center. But he was eager to show us the photo and talk about his recollections of one of the world's most enduring icons.
