Description

Mick Jagger has said that the Rolling Stones wouldn't be the Stones without Chuck Leavell.  He's been the band's keyboard player for 25 years, and he's also played for George Harrison, Eric Clapton, the Allman Brothers and the Black Crowes.

The most anonymous superstar in rock is also an international leader in forestry and conservation. Chuck is a two-time winner of the Georgia Tree Farmer of the Year and the winner of the prestigious National Outstanding Tree Farmer award.

As if that's not enough to keep him busy, he also recently released two solo albums, "Live in Germany" and "Southscape," which have been described as Southern jazz. And he recently added author to his list of accomplishments by publishing his autobiography, "Between a Rock and a Home Place," and two books on forestry -- one is a children’s book and the other is called “Forever Green: The History and Hope of the American Forest.”

Find out how Chuck balances his passion for music with his love for the land.
