In 1956, Johnny Mathis hit No. 1 on the charts for the very first time with "Chances Are," and the world fell in love with one of most iconic voices of our lifetime. Johnny was just getting started. In the decades that followed, he would have 73 albums hit the Billboard charts, and only Elvis Presley and Frank Sinatra have sold more records.

Now in his mid-70s, Johnny's voice is just as fresh, just as warm and just as compelling today.

He's still singing, still touring and still enjoying life. Johnny says these past several years he's emulated his parents at his age -- they both enjoyed successful careers as professional cooks, raised seven children and just lived life well. He says he's just trying to live up to the standards they set.

He shares stories about his close family and why his father enrolled him in singing lessons at the age of 12.

Find out his secrets for sticking with his passions and staying active. He explains how the golf course keeps him from getting lonely and helps him meet new friends.

Plus, Johnny reveals what it's like to have fans of all ages and generations and why he keeps performing in so many concerts, even though he still gets nervous before taking the stage.

My absolute favorite male voice of all time - everyone of his era fell in love to his music - I did!!  I had the absolute pleasure of seeing him up close and personal in a NYC hotel circa 1970 and I was enthralled for every note!
