Before she was Wonder Woman, Lynda Carter's dream was to find success as a recording artist. She never gave up on that dream.
She's just released "At Last," a saucy, smooth and elegant musical journey through some of her all-time favorite standards. After its release, it jumped straight onto the Billboard charts.
But Carter wasn't trying to reinvent herself. It's just that now that she's 58, she's far enough away from her superhero alter ego that she can finally establish a fresh identity all her own.
Carter has been on quite a ride since winning the Miss World Pageant in 1972. Three years later, "Wonder Woman" hit the airwaves, forever turning her into a television icon. She will forever be associated with that role, but she's far enough removed from it to reach out in new directions and live life to the fullest.

Posted 10:51am July 18th, 2009What a Beauty! She was one of my idles when she played Wonder Woman! Just 7 years younger than her, I dreamed of "growing up" to look like her, with the long dark hair.... but I didn't have the blue eyes, so when they became available, I got blue contacts! She is a doll, always will be! My body has "seen better days"! I bet hers is still WOW! I would love to see her again! You go girl!
