This is an excerpt from Sing Live USA's "Sings Swing" show, recorded at the Bob Carr Auditorium in Orlando. The song, Orange Colored Sky was made popular by Nat King Cole. Natalie recorded a version, too. What an honor to perform it!

WOW Mary! GREAT performance, sweet video, great sound, and a perfect tune for you. You NAILED this. You look radiant in the blue dress and your vocals were right on. Thank you for sharing this. What a treat it must have been to sing in front of that band and what a treat for THEM to have you. GO GIRL!!

Mary,
A great performance! You seem to really be in your element with this big orchestra. Congratulations! I remember the song very well. I was a "girl singer" back in the day in NYC and did this song a few times. Of course, my accompaniment wasn't as grand as yours! lol I'm glad you got the opportunity to be backed by so many musicians. It must really have been fun for you. Loved it!!!

Here's proof that I'm Growing Bolder! I recently had one of the biggest thrills of my life.

First of all, don't you love swing music? The Big Band Era was such a magical time. Just because times have changed doesn't mean we can't still perform and enjoy that wonderful sound.

Thanks to a group called Sing Live USA, I had the opportunity to perform swing music at a premier venue in front of a packed house and backed by... a full orchestra! They were just wonderful!

For me, it was a dream come true. I'd like to thank Growing Bolder for allowing me to share it. I hope you'll give it a look, and maybe even leave a comment, but do be kind!!!

Did I mention how much I loved doing this????
