Forty years ago, Sandy Yaguda turned his basement into the birthplace of his band Jay and the Americans.

An amazing 12 top 10 hits, an induction into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame and $100,000 later, Yaguda is bringing the band back into homes and back on stage.

The only thing Yaguda is missing is the band's former front man – David Black, whose gambling problems caused the band's name to go bankrupt.

But that didn't stop Yaguda from bringing back three of the original band members.

Now, the band from Brooklyn that once toured with Roy Orbison, The Beatles and The Rolling Stones, is hitting the stage one more time.
